A. Compliance Report
STRENGTHS:
1. All the state universities and colleges of the Cordillera Administrative
Region developed the unified Bachelor of Science in Information
Technology (BSIT) curriculum adopted by the Potia Campus of the Ifugao
State University.
2. The program has very appropriate curriculum in terms of congruence
with the vison and mission of the University
3. The curriculum provides the desired skills and competencies needed by
the graduates in preparation for work.
4. The curriculum encourages the use of varied teaching methods and
techniques that are implemented by the faculty.
5. The syllabi are periodically updated and revised.
6. The number of computer units surpass the standard set by the CMO.
7. The academic performances of students are assessed thoroughly using
varied evaluation measures.
8. Graduates are extremely satisfied and find the BSIT curriculum relevant
and helpful to their current jobs.
AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT
1. There are few instructional materials and learning modules for the BSIT
program.
2. There is insufficient multimedia room for the programs in the College of
Computing Sciences.
3. There is no learning resource center in the College of Computing
Sciences.
4. There is no student lounge conducive to learning and group dynamics.
5. The interactive board and multimedia relevant modern equipment for
the computing sciences is insufficient.
6. There are few student researches conducted relative to the BSIT
programs.
