Health Center news
Flu Vaccine is Available
The CDC recommends influenza vaccination for everyone, so please call
the office to set up an appointment to get yours.
COVID boosters have now been approved by the FDA and the CDC for
all 3 vaccines for people over 65 and those over 18 with pre-existing
conditions. People living or working in long term facilities also qualify.
Boosters for Pfizer and Moderna should be given 6 months after their
last dose. For people who received the J and J vaccine, they can get a
booster after 2 months. Please call the office if you have questions
about whether you qualify or how to make a booster appointment.
Again, we strongly recommend that if you have not received your ini-
tial COVID vaccination, you do so. We also recommend that you please
call the office to set up your annual physical or well child exam.
Please remember that if you have a health-related question or concern
after hours, call the office number and follow the prompts. Someone
will return your call. Please do not contact any Health Center staff via
their personal phone number or social media platforms. Call the office
at 518.582.2991 at all times. For emergencies, consider 911. For non-
urgent issues leave a message on the machine as messages are
checked periodically during and after hours. If you have an urgent
medical issue, call the office number and press 1 when prompted and
you will be forwarded to Kevin Bolan PA directly.
We have new staff at the Health Center. Please welcome Tammy
Walsh-Larabee as our new Medical Assistant and Alyssa DeCesare as a
substitute in the office.
