Come and try out for the Rotary Club “Youth Speaks” Public Speaking competition - a great opportunity to work in a team and speak about a topic you are passionate about. Tryouts will be towards the end of the Autumn Term and the first round of the competition takes place in January.

Explore languages, foreign literature and more. Projects researching and writing articles for our magazine ‘Paroli,’ translation, computational linguistics and entering competitions such as the oxford German olympiad. Ambassadors receive exclusive places at our Shadow Heroes masterclasses, visit an oxford college and a theatre trip to a foreign play in London.

Law Society invites speakers which in the past have included a judge, a barrister and a magistrate. It also holds mock trials where students can practise their advocacy and persuasive skills or just experience what being a juror might entail. Dates may vary but events take place after school from 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm. The mock trial will be held in the old Crown Court in the Town Hall in oxford and will be an evening event.
