The Symphony orchestra is comprised of students of Grade 5 standard or above. They enjoy working on a varied and vibrant repertoire from symphonic classics through to film music and take a leading role in the main school concerts. Membership is by invitation but girls may make enquiries if they are interested in joining.

Stringendo is Headington’s beginner string ensemble. They perform in several events throughout the school year including the Lower School Concert and in the Celebration of Strings. All strings players are welcome to come along.

A fun ensemble aimed at learning a range of contemporary pieces and songs. Come and learn how to play current hits and pop classics in a matter of weeks! Students from all years are welcome, including beginners.
