stretch and challenge
At the Prep School, we work carefully to identify the talents of our pupils. Learning is carefully differentiated to ensure all lessons challenge and inspire everyone. In order to offer extension work outside of the classroom, there is a Stretch and Challenge Club which meets weekly for Years 3 to 6. During the irst two terms, this club offers fascinating sessions to pique the students’ interest, culminating in a project during the Summer Term which they present in an exhibition to parents and staff. This club is directed towards our most able but all pupils can sign up and attend.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)
We celebrate the fact that many of our children speak more than one language. This diversity in language means a number of our children have particular learning and teaching requirements, linked to their progress in learning English as an additional language (EAL) and we aim to meet the full range of their needs.
