Talking things through
There is always someone to talk to if you are feeling the strain for whatever reason If something is wrong, please do consider approaching any of the following:
• Your parents, guardian or family
• Your Housemistress or Housemaster or any other member of house staff
• Your form tutor
• The School Counsellor
• The Health Centre staff
• Mrs Jordan (Headmistress)
• Mrs Rahmatallah (Head of Boarding)
• Miss Proctor (Deputy Head Pastoral)
• Mr Howell (Chaplain)
• Mr Drew (Pastoral Director of Sixth Form)
• Any member of staff you choose
• Your friends
• A prefect, especially our Befriender or Wellbeing Prefects
If you speak to a member of staff in private, we can’t promise that what you say will remain confidential We have no alternative but to pass on information if we feel that it is in your best interest to do so or if maintaining confidentiality compromises your safety and welfare or that of others If information does have to be passed on to a third party, we will always inform you of our intention to do so Medical confidentiality with the school doctor is generally observed However, the Health Centre may pass on medical information to those they feel need to know
