Mrs Barrett (Academic) and Mr Drew (Pastoral) are jointly responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Sixth Form life to ensure that you have every opportunity
to excel in all areas They work closely with the Form Tutors and Heads of Year to get to know you as an individual, to understand the challenges and pressures you face,
to applaud your successes and to encourage and support you to fulfil your personal potential
Mrs Barrett has overall responsibility for your academic life in the Sixth Form, as well
as supervising the UCAS application process With the Form Tutors and Heads of Year, she will carefully monitor your progress and provide overall support for you in the new challenges of A Level study and revision You must get her approval for any change to your programme of study and she will also oversee the private study arrangements for all sixth formers
Mr Drew has overall responsibility for your personal development and well-being within and beyond the classroom He will liaise with the Form Tutors and Heads
of Year to understand your individual needs and concerns and is on hand to offer
you extra support and guidance, should you need it He will work closely with the Prefects and supervise the smooth running of Headington VI He will oversee the Sixth Form PSHE programme and will organise events within and beyond Headington VI
