For the Lower Sixth, the transition to Sixth Form life is significant You will need to be self-motivated, self-disciplined and self-reliant in a completely new and more mature way and your Form Tutor, with Mrs Watson, will guide you in this The new academic and social challenges of Sixth Form life can be daunting and they will help to ensure that you make a positive and informed start to Headington Sixth Form and enjoy the freedoms and rigours that it offers
For the Upper Sixth, your mind will be turning towards life beyond school and Ms Knott will work with your Form Tutor to guide you in the vital decisions that you make about your next step after Headington They will closely monitor your UCAS application and your academic progress so that you can achieve your very best next summer As one
of the senior girls in the School, your leadership and positive example are fundamental to the School’s success We will work with you to ensure that you gain a breadth of experience and skills in your final year at Headington, in order that you are confident and well prepared for your future adult life beyond the School
