Pastoral care

We recognise that girls will thrive academically when they are happy in other aspects of their life and we have a strong system
of support at Headington Prep to ensure this is the case.
Girls can talk to any member of staff about anything that is troubling them. Our dedicated team works alongside parents and teachers to ensure that we can offer your daughter the support
she needs to help her flourish in school.
Encouraging the girls to treat each other with respect and kindness is a vital part of life at Headington Prep. Lifelong
friendships are formed here.
PSHE lessons (Personal, Social and Health Education) are taught to all classes in the School and friendship issues are often shared
and discussed openly in these lessons.
lEARNiNg ENRicHMENt
We know that all girls learn at different rates and our Learning Enrichment Department gives support to those
girls who may need a little extra help. The team always works in partnership with parents and provides regular
updates on any extra provision that is made.
Lots of girls will work with the department at some stage during their school life, benefiting hugely from their
expertise and quickly gaining in confidence in their weaker areas as well as extra provision to stretch and challenge
the most able, gifted and talented girls.
