Sport

Sport at Headington Prep is varied and exciting. We offer more than 12 different curricular and extra-curricular sports taught by our specialist and experienced staff. From dance and gymnastics to fencing and cricket, every girl is encouraged to try new things and find new talents.
As well as our own school grounds, we also have use of the Senior School’s sports facilities, including the Dance and Fitness Centre, the 25m swimming pool and all-weather pitches. In Key Stage 2, all our girls have the opportunity to compete and represent the School at county and national level.
Our enthusiastic teachers encourage girls to enjoy sport and help them develop their fitness levels as well as promoting a good team spirit and sense of achievement.
