The Family Program is your go-to for comprehensive family
support. With services like intensive parent education,
referrals, financial coaching, and therapeutic assistance, we
address various family needs. The Family Resource Room,
and programs like Thanksgiving and Holiday family adoption
and the Helping Hands emergency fund enhance our support.
We also offer help with resume writing, job searching, Photo Credit: Eileen M Escarda
goal setting, and family budgeting. Our parent education classes cover crucial topics, including

Nurturing Parenting, Financial Literacy, First Time Home Buyers, Healthy Relationships,
and Health & Wellness, empowering families with vital skills.

The HEALTH Program (Helping Everyone Achieve Long
Term Health) at Jack & Jill Center is a robust health
initiative following the CDC's WSCC (Whole School
Whole Community, Whole Child) Model. It includes
thorough assessments, health services, telehealth,
preventative care, and community collaborations,
positively affecting students, families, and team
members. Utilizing our therapy dogs, Fenway and Quinzy, brings additional support to children, resulting in
tangible benefits such as improved test scores and heightened school attendance.
2023 Highlights

This year we made great strides as a result of the tremendous generosity and support from our funders and community
members. Some of the 2023 highlights include:
Increased enrollment at the Madelaine Halmos Academy from 123 to 156 students.
Graduating fifth graders receive a Florida Pre-Paid Scholarship funded by the Steve and Madelaine Halmos
Children’s Opportunity Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward.
Early Education Program continues at full capacity.
Through a PwC grant we were able to invest in a STEAM program for the Early Education Program- Flight Labs has
soared into our preschool classrooms, bringing innovation and new learning experiences to our young explorers.
Re-accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NAEYC.
Quinzy, our therapy dog, continues to support the first-grade classroom to decrease absenteeism, improve social-
emotional health, and increase reading scores.
We had 500 screenings for both dental and vision at both Madelaine Halmos Academy and the Early Education
Program.
The Health program increased student health visits to an average of nine visits per day and 95% returned to the
elementary school due to having a nurse on-site.
92% of our parents were able to seek, secure, and/or retain employment or schooling as a result of our programs.
87% of our parents maintained or increased their income.
