Message

In 2022, we celebrated an incredible milestone—
our 80th anniversary! While reflecting on our
history of service in the community, we are
focused on how we can grow, evolve, and better
serve our children and families in the years to
come. We are seizing this moment to reflect on
the incredible accomplishments of the past year.
We crossed the finish line of our Capital
Campaign, raising nearly $11 million to build
Madelaine Halmos Academy. Thanks to a
generous partnership between The Halmos
Family Foundation and the Florida Prepaid
College Foundation, The Opportunity
Scholarship Fund provided every Madelaine Halmos Academy graduate with a
Florida College Plan scholarship. Our Early Education Program continues to
provide top-notch care and was re-accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of
Young Children). Our Health Program gained a second therapy dog named Quinzy who helps improve
motivation, resulting in improved outcomes like attendance and test scores. With the support of the
Family Program, our hardworking families continue to excel in school and their careers. Thanks to your
support, we have the incredible opportunity turn their most difficult times into moments of hope and joy.
Our families are why we do what we do, but YOU are the how. You are the essential piece of the puzzle
that allows our vision to come true and helps create a space where our families can thrive. Your support
allows us to think broader, dream bigger, and challenge ourselves to do better every day. We are sincerely
grateful for each and every donor, volunteer, Board Member, Friend, Team Member, and supporter!
