The Westminster School, Dubai staff and students enthusiastically celebrated the

National day even during the pandemic. The entire school was beautifully

decorated with colors of UAE flag. School’s staff and students from all the classes

conducted a special program for the people who are celebrating their National

day in their homes. They even gave speech in different languages to highlight the

significance of the day. The ceremony started with the national anthem followed

by the Holy Quran recitation, and then our principal, vice principal and head of

staff gave a special message which emphasized us to be respectful towards the

UAE culture and heritage. The students were assigned to write the word “UAE

CARES” in Arabic in a beautiful decorative style and add elements of UAE in their

drawings and the teachers really appreciated the students on the hard work and

the enthusiasm they had towards the task that was assigned to them and the way

they presented their work. The teachers were delighted with the students who wore

UAE’s national traditional dress while staying at home. The students at The

Westminster School, Dubai decorated their outside and inside boards with UAE

National Day’s decoration which was amazing. The principal, vice principal, head

of staff, teachers, students and more actively participated and showed their

respect towards the UAE National day.
