and must get up. You can relate according to the natural conditions—how itchy? More itchy than previous. So itchy that you cannot tolerate and must scratch. Sometimes, I also scratch—it is too itchy. Scratching is okay, you do not need to just overcome (Translator’s note: Sensations) only.
“Overcome sensations”—in reality, are we overcoming sensations, or are we overcoming our own de lements? We contemplate sensations—whether they cease or not is another matter. Therefore, we move in to experience. Sometimes, when we inject emptiness, they (Translator’s note: Sensations) cease immediately—“peep”. But, sometimes, we inject emptiness, but they do not cease. We inject emptiness, but they remain. The reality is that: This is how to contemplate natural conditions. Last time, we move in and they cease immediately—peep. This time, we move in, but they become clearer, clearer, clearer. This is the impermanence of sensations. Relate according to phenomena. This is the way to relate natural conditions.
Review how we have been relating our natural conditions. You have related correctly, related natural conditions correctly—but usually you do not arrange them well. I need to help you arrange them. Therefore, when practitioners relate natural conditions, I have to listen quietly. Sometimes it appears that I laugh loudly when listening to practitioners relating natural conditions.
