°It causes Day and Night °It causes the four seasons (Spring, Summer,

-Day is when Earth is facing the Sun Autumn and Winter).

-Night is when Earth is facing away -Every four years the extra 6 hours give 24
from the Sun hours = 1day.

-The extra day is added in February (leap

year)

-Every season lasts 3 months
