If only life
If only life could just stand still at some appropriate time,
When every day is fragrant and bright, and the sun constantly
        shines.

But life cannot stand still, and to live,
        we must have our share of heartache and fears;

For we never could help another's sad heart
If we hadn't known tears through the years.

                                                         The Life That I Have
The life that I have Is all that I have,
and the life that I have Is yours.
The love that I have, of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours.
A sleep I shall have A rest I shall have
Yet death will be but a pause
For the peace of my years in the long green grass,
                                                                 will be yours
                                                        and yours and yours.
                                                                   Leo Marks

        Goodbye
Goodbye my family my life is past,
I loved you all to the very last.
Weep not for me but courage take,
Love each other for my sake.
For those you love don’t go away,
They walk beside you every day.
