Outing Opportunity for ambassadors and their families
No Barriers USA is a Colorado nonprofit serving people with physical disabilities of all kinds, and they are striving to be more inclusive of the I/DD community. Their motto is what's within
us is stronger than what's in our way, which is something that resonates with us at Tall Tales Ranch, as our ambassadors inspire us by living t
his ideal every day. Their annual What's Your Everest Summit (Au- gust 25-28, Estes Park) attracts folks from all over the world for a celebratory and inspirational gathering offering a wide range of activities, and they'd love to have you join in!

A goodbye from Heather
It is with gratitude, a little sadness, but a full and happy heart that I share the news of my departure from Tall Tales, and the passing of the development baton to our smart, capable and strong new Executive Director, Laura McKenna.
SO much has happened in these 3 1/2 years! I've said hello and goodbye to Jonah and Sara (whose TTR alumni ranks I'll now join), watched Emma springboard from invaluable Trusty Sidekick to invaluable coffee trailer expert, stood in awe as Sally became a mama for the third time to a most amazing little lady (while never missing a program beat,) and watched Susan and Pat find the perfect person to continue their many years of hard work making Tall Tales as solid and promising as can be. And my favorite memories will always be those we've shared with our ambassadors. The gift of your friendship, optimism, and perspective has forever changed my life.
I have nothing but gratitude for my time with this extraordinary organization. I'm looking forward to balancing contract development/fundraising work with a bit more travel, but I promise to be one of the biggest cheerleaders celebrating that ribbon-cutting day at the ranch right alongside you all!
Best, Heather
