SWIMMING – The Village Stingrays
The Village Stingrays is a summer recreational swim team that competes as part of the Mountain Hi Swim League. It is the longest parent-run volunteer swim team in the Castle Pines community, with more than 20 years of experience. Membership on the team is open to children and grandchildren of residents of the Village who are between the ages of 5 and 18. Each swimmer must be able to swim at least one length of the pool unassisted.
The Village Stingrays swim team practices at the Canyon Club pool. For additional information or to register, contact
PICKLEBALL –
Pickleball in the Village is a rapidly growing sport. Many groups have formed that regularly play together based on experience and skill level. Advanced players are those who are rated roughly 3.5 and above, intermediate are those above 2.5, and beginners are those new to the game.
The Village at Castle Pines offers multiple socials throughout the summer to
foster camaraderie among the pickleball community with food, beverages and an opportunity to play at all levels. New participants are encouraged to come to one of socials for round robin play.
While there are currently no official leagues, individuals and groups reserve their own play time on one of the four available courts. To reserve a court, visit the CPHA website at www.thevillagecastlepines.com and click on the Resident Login page under Reservations: Pickleball. Courts may be reserved up to seven days in advance.
