designed golf course to the culinary experience, on-site cottages, the classic clubhouse atmosphere and beyond. Accommodating hospitality and world-class quality remain a signature of Castle Pines Golf Club today.
Host to The INTERNATIONAL Golf Tournament from 1986 to 2006, Castle Pines Golf Club and its course rose to national and international attention as millions tuned in to watch the best players in the world golf the rarified Colorado air.
A major renovation project to modernize the course and clubhouse was recently completed, making Castle Pines capable of hosting both a major championship and daily member/guest play, all on the same day.
The golf course and club facilities are only available to members and their guests. Membership is by invitation only.
SANCTUARY –
7549 N Daniels Park Road, Sedalia
(720) 259-2572; https://sanctuarygolfcourse.com/
Sanctuary is located a few miles outside the gates of The Village at Castle Pines and is played by invitation only or through one of the approximately 25 charity events hosted annually. Originally envisioned to be home to an Arabian horse farm, Sanctuary later came to fruition as a golf experience that gracefully balanced exclusivity with accessibility. It is known for its elevated tees, towering pines and 180-degree mountain views encompassing Pikes Peak to the south and Longs Peak to the north.
The vision of founders Dave and Gail Liniger (co-founders of RE/MAX and residents in The Village at Castle Pines) was for the golf course
to be carefully situated in a fragile and beautiful ecosystem –
guided by a commitment to stewardship that focused not just
on habitat protection, but on good citizenship as well. This philosophy of stewardship exceeded all expectations, and to date, the philanthropic golf events held at Sanctuary have generated more than $112 million net to directly benefit the many nonprofits it serves.
