DAY 1: Day In The Life of a 911 Fire Dispatcher w/Team Lunch – You and a guest will witness the day-to-day operations of a 911 center. Tour of South Metro Fire Rescue’s (SMFR) Emergency Communication Center, sitting alongside a 911 dispatcher listening to live calls, dispatching units, and receiving radio traffic. Then, take a 911 dispatcher test and manage mock calls for service, dispatching units in a training environment. Fly a public safety drone and take a selfie. Enjoy lunch with the dispatch team.
DAY 1: South Metro Fire Rescue VIP Station Tour & Ride-Along w/Dinner –
You and a guest will glimpse into the life of a firefighter with a VIP tour of South Metro Station 39 and a ride-along. Experience the camaraderie and stay for dinner prepared by the firefighters.
DAY 2: Centennial Airport Experience with South Metro –
You and a guest experience the operations and fire protection of Centennial Airport. Ride on the aircraft rescue and firefighting truck––also known as SHREK––to Centennial Airport. There you will get a VIP tour of SMFR Fire Station 35 and its equipment. Enjoy the airport grounds, runways, hangars and businesses that bring billions of dollars to the Colorado economy. Also, take a tour of the air traffic control tower. Between the fun, enjoy lunch at the airport restaurant, The Perfect Landing.
DAY 2: VIP Helitack Adventure – This first-of-its-kind exciting opportunity for two participants puts you aboard Douglas
County’s firefighting helicopter alongside the elite Helitack
crew – the aerial firefighting specialists who battle blazes from
the sky. Join the team on a training mission to see first hand how they save lives and property across Douglas County and the state.
DAY 3: Falck Rocky Mountain – You (only) will take a 12-hour citizen ride- along with Falck Rocky Mountain ambulance company. This full-day immersion puts you directly alongside emergency medical professionals as they respond to real-world medical emergencies. Experience the fast-paced world of emergency medical services, from routine medical calls to life- threatening emergencies.

Engine 1⁄2 – Rare opportunity to have a fully-functional mini fire engine at your private event (perfect for a birthday party, etc.) Guests suit up in youth- sized firefighting gear and go hands-on with the onboard water system. Crash Avoidance Class – Prepare your young permitted driver for all conditions with this one-day hands-on crash avoidance driving skills class. CPR / Babysitting – Register for either a CPR Class or Babysitting Class presented by South Metro Safety Foundation.
Training & BBQ – You and three guests will join Larkspur Fire Department for a cookout at the station on a weekend of your choosing. Observe utility training vehicle (UTV) training and enjoy burgers and brats with the crew.
