Trash & Recycling
Trash and recycling collection is one of the valuable amenities provided by the Castle Pines Homes Association (CPHA) and is paid for out of the monthly maintenance assessments. Waste Management (WM) is the contracted service provider for all trash and recycling collection within the Village.
Trash Collection Policy
• Trash is collected on Wednesday of each week. Recycling is collected every other Wednesday.
• Holidays occur throughout the year and may impact your collection day. If your service day falls on or after a holiday, your service will be delayed by one (1) day. Regular service will resume the following week. Service holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
• All trash and recycling must be placed into a Waste Management-provided container. Trash = green lid; Recycle = yellow lid.
• Place containers curbside by 7 am, but not earlier than 5 am on the day of pickup. Containers may not be put out the night before.
