BIN BLESSED – binblessed.com
Beginning in 2015, bright green bins began popping up on front porches in the Village to collect much needed items for families caring for critically ill children with cancer and other life-threatening situations.
A group of women in the Village began Bin Blessed to give neighbors a chance to share their blessings by dropping needed items in the bins. The “Bin Babes” deliver all donations to the nonprofit, There With Care, to deliver to the families. Visit www. binblessed.com to learn more about the organization, the location of bins, the items needed, and how you can help. We also meet to put together special seasonal gift bags for the children, their siblings and parents. Contact cydeboer@gmail with questions.
WELLSPRING COMMUNITY – wearewellspring.org
Wellspring Community empowers the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through innovative day programming, adaptive work opportunities, and ground-breaking residential care services.
Wellspring has an amazing network of volunteers who help to make our programs possible. More than 150 volunteers donate their time and talents to advance the Wellspring mission. We have various opportunities to be involved including but not limited to: day program classes, Castle Rock Collective, driving transportation routes, lunch supervision and more. There is a place for you to volunteer at Wellspring.
Whether you are interested in volunteering on a weekly basis, once a month, or as your schedule permits, we’d love your help.
If you are interested in getting involved, please email our Volunteer Manager Jenny Aguilar at jaguilar@wearewellspring.org or call (303) 660-1935 ext 110.
