Douglas County Libraries
Douglas County Libraries (DCL) strives to elevate the
community by inspiring a love of reading, discovery and
connection. It embodies the noble and necessary tradition
as places of learning by imagining, crafting, honing and
delivering creative, fun, inspiring and effective learning
opportunities – learning that goes beyond the confines of the traditional classroom.
DCL goes beyond the civic spaces baseline to become a community’s center. It celebrates community life inside and outside the library.
“Our libraries are more than just learning hubs, they’re the centers of our community,” stated Director of Community Engagement Amber DeBerry. “Douglas County Libraries brings the community together, inside and outside our beautiful buildings, with excellent public resources and educational, engaging and entertaining events for all customers.”
