The Details.
COMMUNITY SCOPE:
The community encompasses 3,500 acres in Lone Tree, Colorado, south of Lincoln Avenue, east and west of I-25. Currently about 6,000 people live in RidgeGate. While the west side of RidgeGate is nearly complete, development will begin soon on the east side of I-25.
HOMES:
Ultimately, over 10,000 additional homes will be built, including single-family homes, custom homes, townhomes, condos and apartments. There are already approximately 2,300 homes completed in the community.
OFFICE AND RETAIL:
Commercial use can accommodate over 10 million additional square feet. This includes o ces and corporate campuses, retail districts, medical build- ings, hotels, educational and entertain- ment facilities, all clustered in the new Lone Tree City Center on the east side of I-25.
LANDSCAPE:
Over 1,200 acres of parks, trails, natural habitat and open space exist in the community. Approximately 10 miles of trails and paths are here now, and up to 50 miles will be available in the future.
AMENITIES:
Lone Tree Library, Lone Tree Arts Center, Lone Tree Recreation Center, hotels, Schweiger Ranch, Lincoln Commons and RidgeGate Commons retail districts. More public amenities will be built as the east side of the community is developed.
CONNECTIVITY:
Three light rail stations, part of the Southeast Rail Extension project,
are under construction and will open for service in early 2019. RTD bus service is available throughout the neighborhoods. Pedestrian and bicycle paths connect the community districts in RidgeGate, with many more planned for the development on the east side of I-25.
