P. 11
When the COVID-19 pandemic sent us to shelter in our homes in March 2020, we all hoped life as we knew it would resume quickly. Unfortunately, it did not. Realizing that it might be some time until children could return safely to Sunday School, GIFT345, and youth groups, we wondered, "how could home be church, too?"
We wanted to encourage families to hear God's Word and provide parents with tools so they could grow in faith and equip others. We prayed that by connecting with families in this way a living faith could be sustained or even emerge for the first time.
Each box contains activities to help children age 3 - grade 5 continue to grow in faith at home. Enrolled families receive their seasonal boxes by contactless delivery by another KOG member. It's not too late to participate; there are always extra boxes at KOG for those who need a boost.
The next box is available 2/14. If you know someone who would be blessed by this ministry, contact the church office.

This issue would not be possible without the reflections from the first two waves of KOG members who still retain their membership with King of Glory today. Not all who were contacted were able or felt comfortable to respond. Those who did often wrote far more than we could ever use! Thank you for sharing how the Holy Spirit worked among you to make KOG a vital congregation. Your continued investment in our church remains a blessing to all of us. Thank you!
