A New Venture
When you're looking to invest in a business, how do you know which one to choose? Marty Ambuehl suggests being patient as you're looking and listening to your inner self. Marty and a team of four partners recently purchased the patent for "Shot Tracer," a product that uses pressure and sound to detect a gunshot. With the frequency of shootings in schools, hotels, and public buildings, Marty hopes this product will save lives.
Anticipating Retirement
After working in nursing for 44 years, on April 7, 2022 Robin Olson will work her last shift at St. V's NICU. Robin hopes that in retirement, "I can continue to give to other people, helping in some small way to ease the journey for someone else." "I've seen unbelievable miracles," Robin shares and she trusts that God will continue to work through her as she crosses into retirement.
Changing Jobs in a Pandemic
Josh Brakebush forged a new professional path at the height of the pandemic in Billings. Formerly working as a Respiratory Therapist on the Air Ambulance, Josh now serves as the Manager of BC Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Physician Practice. The unpredictability of the ambulance life has now been exchanged for "giving something back to the doctors who trained me all those years ago," and being able to be home more often with my family.
Beyond Retirement
In 2021 Cheryl Selle retired after serving as the business manager at Turley Dental for many years. In retirement Cheryl is trying "to do all the things I never got to do when I was working." Despite being away from the community of faith for several years, Cheryl jumped back in and began showing up to things like Advent Soup + Sabbath, Bible Study, and even joined an IF:Table. "It's been so good to re-engage with church. I'm having so much fun!"
