What shall we do? Who will we be?
"The sheer quantity of wreckage that surrounds us is appalling," Eugene Petersen once wrote. "Wrecked bodies, wrecked marriages, wrecked careers, wrecked plans, wrecked families..." Though written in 1987, these words could aptly describe life today. So what can be done?
"Petersen notes that "the biblical fact is that there are no successful churches...but communities of sinners, gathered before God week after week... [gathered] so the Holy Spirit can do it's work in them."
