Introduction
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Abraham Lincoln
What is Venture Capital?
Venture Capital is broadly the provision of funds through
taking equity in new concept firms that entail a higher risk
but also potentially, higher growth and profit. It also implies
a long-term investment.
The venture will target a large market which the company
seeks to reach and serve. Furthermore, the market should
be scalable.
If the market the new venture is entering is a stable, efficient
one then the start-up needs a novel ideal to disrupt the
market that allows market change to occur. Start-ups
inevitably create new ways of doing things.
