TO HANDS-ON LEARNING











                                  Unleashing the power of learning by doing. Hands-on experiences
                                  increase student performance and motivation by drawing a child’s
                                  attention to objects/tools which they are allowed to touch or move
                                  during the learning process.

                                   These field trips are designed around state standards and allow

                                   Grade 1: Learn about safety at a nearby fire station
                                   Grade 2: Experience the Arts in Lawrence Township
                                   Grade 3: Learn by doing at The Children’s Museum
                                   Grade 4:  Experience downtown during the Indiana
                                            Statehouse Tour
                                   Grade 5: Learn about Indiana at Conner Prairie
                                   Grade 6: Visit and study at the Indianapolis Museum of Art
