A Fractal design is a never ending pattern that repeats itself at
different scales. This property is called “Self-Similarity”. For
example: leaf, coastlines, mountains, animal patterns, heart
rates.

Ÿ Participant to create a Fractal Painting based on patterns
(Mathematical or shapes)

Ÿ Any type of shape can be used
Ÿ Size allowed – 30“ x 20“
Ÿ It should not be a digital image, only painting is allowed.

Ÿ Any type of colours can be used
Ÿ The art must reflect certain patterns, as shown in the
el júbilo
example. (do not copy the image given in example)

Evaluation Criteria:
Ÿ Repetition of curve

Ÿ Visual Impact
Ÿ Creativity
Ÿ Neatness

Ÿ Geometric pattern
