Ali Al-Naimi (story )
One day, the little boy Ali Al-Naimi felt thirsty, so he went to drink from the water cooler in
Aramco yard, however, at that time an American engineer who was working for the company
prevented him because that cooler was only for engineers, and he is just an “ordinary
worker”
He felt anger and disappointment at that time, is it not his right to drink as the engineers? Did
God not create everyone equally, why he could not be an engineer, so no one would ever
prevent again? This was the beginning of ambition, which changed Al-Naimi's life to his
current destination, so he began studying day and night, and he worked a lot to obtain
educational certificates, until he was sent by Aramco to the United States of America, so he
got his bachelor and master degrees in geology.
Al-Naimi returned as an engineer, as he had dreamed, and graduated in managerial positions
within the company, and in 1983 he became director of Aramco, this monumental oil edifice.
After that, the American engineer met Al-Naimi again, but this time Al-Naimi did not get
angry, as the American engineer who works under his administration asked him to eat a
vacation and asked him not to forget what happened previously at the water cooler. Al-Naimi
smiled, saying: were it not for what happened, you wouldn't now see me in this position, I
was really angry at the time, but I volunteered my anger to succeed in my life.
