14.5 Synthesis: The Adamic Threshold Defined
The Convergence of Evidence
When the three pillars of human origins — archaeology, genetics, and
anthropology — are placed side by side, a single pattern emerges:
Archaeology shows 250,000 years of silence, punctuated by failed sparks,
followed by a sudden, global, and permanent symbolic explosion after ~70
ka. This is not a slope of gradualism but a cliff — a threshold event.
Genetics reveals that loci for speech, cognition, and cortical expansion
(FOXP2, HAR1, SRGAP2C, ARHGAP11B, and others) were fixed long
before. For millennia, they lay dormant. Then, at the bottleneck (~70 ka),
they ignited in synchrony. The probability of such alignment by chance is

convergence.

Together, the evidence converges not on continuity, but on threshold.

Only the Adam Paradox Hypothesis (APH) makes sense of this convergence:
1.A genome long prepared — the hardware installed across 15 loci, waiting
in latency.
2.A threshold suddenly ignited — a switch flipped at ~70 ka,
synchronizing archaeology, genetics, and population expansion.
3.A convergence of artifacts, genes, and societies — beads, burials, art,
and myths exploding across continents in lockstep with genetic reset and
demographic dispersal.
This is not the signature of blind chance. It is the fingerprint of engineering.
