The Ādam Paradox Hypothesis 190
4. Cross-Disciplinary Synchrony
The most powerful APH prediction is synchrony: genomic sweeps, symbolic
artifacts, and demographic expansions all cluster tightly around ~70kya.
Under gradualism, these would scatter across 200k+ years.
Under APH, they converge.
Probability Test:
Assume independent timing across three domains (genome, artifacts,
demography).
Probability of convergence within ±10k years by chance:
In reality, they converge.
We’re looking at three independent timelines:
1.Genomic changes (sweeps in DNA regulation)
2.Symbolic artifacts (art, beads, burials)
3.Demographic growth (population expansion)
Each could have happened anywhere in the last 200,000 years.
APH says they all line up around 70,000 years ago, within a ±10,000-year
window (so a 20,000-year band).
So the chance of all three lining up by accident is just 1 in 1,000.
The Conclusion
Gradualism: would expect scattering across 200k years → chance <1%.
APH: predicts convergence at ignition → matches the observed alignment.
