some highlights include; Our first PK-12 work in Missouri as well as growth in the Municipal footprint,
Significant Wisconsin work, and plans to open an office in Milwaukee in 2018, A project in Indiana
and several new partnerships created, hiring a new Corporate Practice Leader, Discussions with
a Texas Architecture and Planning firm regarding teaming and Use of Resilient expertise to secure
several new client relationships. Our progress on these goals may not seem obvious as we go
about our daily business, but you can see from the earlier statistics, we are making steady progress
as we reach the mid-point of the five-year period. We will be gathering a group of Principals in
the next month to hold a mid-course review of all Strategic Initiatives and expect to make
appropriate modifications, pushing what’s working and trying new angles where we have not
               seen progress.
Our last goal, to dramatically increase net revenue depends on success in the rest of the initiatives.
While meeting with a strategic partner shortly after our 2015 Strategic Planning meetings, he told
me I should plan on it being twice as hard and taking twice as long as expected to achieve the
goals. His prediction turned out to be true, but we are making progress on many fronts. I want to
emphasize one point- as you can see from above, increasing profitability is not and has never
been an end in itself. We have always believed by staying true to FGM’s core values you see
below, we will grow the firm and allow our staff to grow

                   • COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENTS: We build long-term relationships by providing quality
design and service that meets our clients’ needs, values and interests.
                   • COMMITMENT TO THE PEOPLE OF FGM: We offer opportunity for quality professional life and
support for quality personal life to all.
                   • ETHICAL CONDUCT: We bring integrity, respect, fairness and honesty to all our relationships
                   • COMMITMENT TO FGM: We apply sustainable business practices. These include
responsible fiscal management, market diversity and development of future leaders.

A commitment for a quality professional life, as well as personal life, assumes folks actually have
time for a personal life and it seems they do. Below, please enjoy a sampling of some significant
               milestones achieved this year.
