Sister’s Wedding GOLDEN ORIENT - My
sister wanted something with a slightly
oriental feel. The shape was to enhance the
design of the sleeve of the dress and the
detail in the embroidered lace.

completed tiaras were of a higher quality
finish, along with some changes to colours

ART NOUVEAU - Commissioned by the
V&A Museum, London the inspiration for
this was simply the Art Nouveau era;
beautiful, fluid, sinuous and organic lines. I
have to confess this is my favourite.
DRAGONFLIES - Commissioned by the
V&A Museum, London I have a great
affinity with insects. Dragonflies have a
delicate fairy-tale appearance. Along with
their iridescence they appear to just perch
where they land. This was the look I wanted
to capture.
HEARTS OF GOLD - Commissioned by the
V&A Museum, London This nearly became
the design for my sisters’ wedding. It was
one of the designs commissioned by the
V&A but they requested it to be made in
silver instead of gold.

CATHEDRAL - A traditional wedding dress
in cream was worn and the tiara was based
on elements of architecture of the bride and
grooms’ church
LILY - Having a small budget but wanting
a unique and personalised tiara, this design
