My art is often done on canvas

although I do enjoy working on
paper and at times incorporate
material and mixed media from
my surroundings.
My choice of Art media is mainly
acrylics although I do also use
watercolours, oils, pencils, paint
pens, fine line pens and also

work with collage.
I am constantly experimenting,
exploring ideas and different
media techniques. Art making
for me is a constant journey and
also provides a sense of peace
through the enjoyment of just
doing!
It engages my creativity and
helps to focus my mind.

“I prefer to not completely copy or

replicate an image of what I see

as this does not stir my creative energy

therefore, I stylise and abstract my art

so it becomes a reflection of what I feel

more so than what I see.”

I am proactive in the art scene
and often exhibit my art in
exhibitions, art competitions,
galleries and sell through some
shops, I also recently had a
solo exhibition. I have also been
grateful to have won several
awards for my art. I work part
time as a high school art
teacher and this allows me
times to create my art.
