seeds to challenge the genetically modified ones of the monopo-
lies, which are linked to cancer. The seeds in the culture centre’s
garden will sprout in March and be sown in May.

RESISTING KAZOVA workers took steps to form a cooper-
ative that says it is based on people’s solidarity and aid and began

the legal steps to bring this about. It was registered with a notary
as RESISTING KAZOVA –DIH PRODUCTION COOPERA-
TIVE and signed by the workers. The legal steps were achieved in
this way. In the cooperative production would be rightfully shared
out. The cooperative will be open to our people. There will be no
boss in the cooperative who steals from the people. The workers
will direct it and produce for themselves. Certainly with solidarity
from the people the cooperative will grow. The Kazova workers
will also be inside the resistance. They will be on the side of re-

sistance. They will be part of the struggle of the people.

Developments regarding the founding of the cooperative and
the people’s garden will be sent to our people when we know
them.

Diren Kazova Store Opened

When their wages and seniority was not paid, the Kazova

workers confiscated the machinery in the Kazova textile firm and
have opened a place to sell the sweaters they make, which is also
a culture centre.

The store they have opened, called “Diren!Kazova”, will be,
in addition to a place where they sell their products, also a cultural
centre in which artists can exhibit their work. Together with Karsi
(Turkish: “Against”) Art Workers, the Kazova workers issued an
