INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
Daily we have what I called fast math. We open our class with 10-question arithmetic
problems to be solved in a minute. I use mathsbot.com to generate the problems.
We also have daily exercises and seat works.
Once a week we played jeopardy to summarize that week’s lesson. Then in mid-week
we play math master by group.
We also utilize Facebook Pages to post examples during class, exercises and
assignments that have a lengthy text. It saved us a lot of time compare to writing it on
the board. And it adds interaction compare to PowerPoint because they can comment to
the post.
