   UICT HOLISTIC EDUCATION CENTRES
      Holistic Education
UICT-KZN has established 20+ centres operating across KwaZulu-Natal. These schools range from pre-schools through to primary schools, high schools and boarding centres.
Our holistic educational facilities are focussed on providing both secular and religious training. We aim to uplift the learners morally, intellectually, spiritually as well as culturally, providing a sense of direction and stability, raising a sustainable generation of Almighty-conscious individuals capable of dealing with the many challenges of modern-day life.
Spiritual Education is provided to advance and promote Spiritual Intelligence, creating more socially conscious caring individuals. The religious aspect of the curriculum is based on Ahl-e-Sunnah wa’l Jamaah belief system and ethos, capable of preparing young learners for the future.
Education enables a person to develop themselves and achieve success in life. Education in Africa plays a great role in enabling a child to prosper under challenging circumstances.
“I feel inner peace when I am here in the institution. I feel at home,” says Beyazid, who is originally from Richards Bay, northern KwaZulu-Natal. He joined a UICT boarding school 10 years ago. Today he is studying Aalim and will soon become a leadership training educator within the organisation.
“Self-discipline and brotherhood are the two things I most value about my education,” he goes on. Beyazid is one of

hundreds of thousands of individuals experiencing the life- changing journey provided by the numerous UICT institutions.
In South Africa alone, the organisation has been working tirelessly and vigorously to promote value-based education. The establishment of UICT centres is aimed at ensuring that quality education is accessible to communities regardless of socio-economic back grounds.
One of these learners is Musa, a 19-year-old student attending the UICT Centre at Isipingo Hills. “I feel that I am being seen and I feel that I am loved... and that is enough.”
Another learner is Luqman, originally from Larmontville. “I have seen the examples set by the Abis (Educators),” he says, “and I want to follow in their footsteps.”
