   GUEST EDITOR's Corner
Being part of the DUT communications team has equipped me with relevant knowledge to promote academic excellence.
Idraw my inspiration from one of the ENVISION2030 living values and principles, excellence. I am motivated to continue serving this prestigious institution in an excellent manner
and encourage students to excel.
We recently wrapped up the 2024 Autumn graduation season, which was an eye opener for me in terms of improving my work ethic. It was a privilege to narrate extraordinary academic achievements and inspiring stories that highlighted excellent and quality learning at DUT.
The experience highlighted the importance of being a team player. Under the supervision of our supervisors, Waheeda Peters and Simangele Zuma, I have learnt to be patient and gradually transitioned into different environments, as my role requires me to interact with people in and outside of DUT.
We hope you enjoy this issue of CONDUIT and draw inspiration from the articles on our students, alumni and DUT community at large.
