Dr Timothy Temitope Adeliyi
Department of Information Technology
Faculty of Accounting and Informatics
Timothy Adeliyi received his PhD in Information Technology from the Durban University of Technology, an MSc in Data Networks & Security from Birmingham City University, and a BSc in information technology from Crawford University.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Information Technology. His research interest is in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, converged networks, and multimedia systems. He has worked on a project that includes: The development of an effective zapping delay framework for Internet Protocol television over a converged network and recently he worked on a frugal
cloud computing box that uses a mobile arm computing device to remotely access resources from the cloud, resulting in a cost- effective solution for minimizing technology upgrade expenses. He is a reviewer for various international journals and conferences. He also mentors students at the masters and PhD levels.
