Dr Ndivhuho Tshikovhi is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Durban University of Technology under the DVC: Research, Innovation and Engagement Office. He holds a doctorate in social and political sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. He also studied abroad at various universities, including
Fudan University, China, and the University of Mannheim, Germany. He obtained his master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. At the University of Mannheim, he was part of the Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation team, also a guest doctoral student at the Institute for SMEs Research and Entrepreneurship. He has received countable research grants from National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa to Erasmus Mundus by the European Union, also the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Germany and the National Fund for Scientific Research (NFRS) in Belgium and National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS), South Africa.
Ms Nosipho Dube is the Research Innovation and engagement assistant (Special Projects) under the leadership of the Deputy Vice chancellor at the Durban University of Technology. As part of the Research, Innovation and EngagementTeam,she provides administrative support to the DVC: RIE. She maintains and supports communication within the department, Compiles and consolidates RIE reports, and prepares reports and documentation for special projects with a key stakeholder. She is involved in the planning and coordinating projects under the RIE ambit. She has worked with SURE (supporting undergraduate research excellence). She is currently involved in the Carbon Literacy for Youth Employability and Job creation (CLY4YEJC) project as the marketing and
communications person. She possesses a Bachelor of social science degree and is currently working towards acquiring her Post graduate diploma in Project management. She is passionate about impacting young lives through education, innovation, and direct interaction.
