Dr Ncumisa Mpongwana

Research, Innovation and Engagement
Ncumisa Mpongwana is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Water and Wastewater Technology.
She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, specializing in biological wastewater treatment. Her research interest includes wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and bioprocess biochemical engineering. She has published her work in several DHET
and internationally recognized journals and has presented her work at international conferences. In 2022, she published four articles in DHET accredited Journals and attended one international conference.
