Ms Gloria Amo-Dudu
Department of Chemical Engineering

Gloria Amo-Duodu is a Chemical Engineer who received her bachelor’s degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
She is currently pursuing her master’s degree (MEng) and a researcher of the Green Engineering Research Group in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Durban University of Technology in South Africa. Her master’s research focuses on the use of synthesized magnetic nanoparticles in the production of biogas from wastewater. She recently finished an ERAMUS exchange program at the University of Valladolid in Spain, where she interned in the Laboratory of the Chemical Engineering
and Environmental Technology Department on ongoing research. She has extensive experience in the formulation and production of soaps, detergents, and preservatives etc. She is also well-versed in biological systems for water and wastewater treatment, as well as environmental remediation. Renewable energy, biopolymers, nanotechnology, membrane technology, biological systems, and environmental remediation are among her research interests.
