Mr Nhlanganiso Ivan Madondo

Nhlanganiso Madondo is currently enrolled for his DEng in Chemical Engineering at DUT.
He completed his BTech cum laude at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), and his MEng at DUT. He was awarded the 2011 Institute of Professional Engineering Technologist Award for the highest academic achievement in BTech Engineering at MUT. He received the 2022 NRF Research Excellence Award for Next Generation Researchers (Engineering Category) in recognition of outstanding academic performance by a doctoral student. His project is entitled, “Anaerobic Digestion
Using Bioelectrochemical System and Metallic Additives: Effect of Electrochemical Efficiencies on Methane Yield.” Since the commencement of his experimental work in October 2021, he has authored five peer-reviewed papers in DHET accredited journals. His paper has recently been accepted for publication at the ICCBEE-22 conference. He is currently working on two papers and a chapter of a book“SewageManagement”,anopenaccess book from IntechOpen.
