Durban Country Club
Durban Country Club is Durban’s finest golf course and is considered by many to be the best in the country. Rated as one of the top 100 courses in the world, the course lies close to the beach and is fashioned into the sand dunes. Durban Country Club Beachwood
Lying some 2km north of Durban Country Club, the recently upgraded Beachwood course is no less beautiful and offers a different challenge. The fairways are narrow and long, and lined with dense foliage requiring precision tee shots, making this a difficult but rewarding course for the patient golfer.

Royal Durban Golf Club
Royal Durban is a links type golf course set in the middle of a horse racing track. The course is distinctive for its lack of large trees and vegetation, which means that wind becomes a major factor. It is well known for its notoriously thick rough, and is a demanding course that challenges every golfer.

Maidstone Country Club
Suitable for golfers of all abilities, this 9 hole (18 tee) course is bordered by trees and laid out in a residential village. Each hole is pretty in aspect but holds many surprises for the unwary golfer in the form of cunning water hazards and 33 bunkers. It’s a testing and relaxing course and well worth the 30-minute drive north from Durban.
