Being featured in Forbes Africa, the brothers have seen their network and opportunities expand significantly. They credit their success to the power of connections and networking, which have opened doors to significant opportunities. For them, connections represent bonds forged through shared experiences and reciprocated support, which have been instrumental in their personal and professional growth. They look forward to DUT alumni collaborating and sharing opportunities with one another. To encourage alumni networking, Ricardo shared an experience that taught him the power of collaborative relationships. Ricardo had the opportunity to meet and establish a rapport with a senior executive from a prominent industry organisation:
“Over time, we stayed in touch, exchanging insights and updates on industry trends. Several months later, this connection proved instrumental when a key project in my field required external expertise. Due to our established relationship and mutual respect, I was recommended for a consulting role that aligned
perfectly with my skills and interests.This opportunity not only allowed me to contribute meaningfully to a high-profile project but also expanded my professional network further.”
Personal Lives and Philosophy
Balancing their professional and personal lives, the brothers prioritise work-life integration.When not driving their company to the next great height, these energetic brothers can be found running, swimming, hiking, surfing or volunteering as baristas at their church’s gatherings. Is there nothing these two cannot do? Their philosophy of “Live Limitless” reflects their approach to life and work, embracing challenges and pursuing continuous growth.

As they continue to grow Omninela Medical, the brothers remain committed to their vision of providing innovative healthcare solutions.Their journey from Merebank to their current success is a testament to the values instilled in them by their upbringing and the education they received.They remain passionate about making a positive impact and are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible, both in their professional and personal lives.
