A Year of Conservation and Collaboration at the 2023/24 Biodiversity Forum
The 2023/24 Biodiversity Forum (BF) was a dynamic showcase of environmental stewardship, drawing together experts, communities, and conservation enthusiasts across four engaging sessions. Each quarter brought a new theme, reflecting the pressing issues and innovative solutions in biodiversity conservation, while also celebrating the remarkable efforts of those dedicated to preserving our natural heritage for the present and future generations.
Nelly Mvuni’s Perspective:
“The biodiversity protection and management sector is often dominated by a siloed work approach. Planning and coordinating the Biodiversity Forum allowed me to play a part in setting up a platform for collaboration and open dialogues between different stakeholders, and that is the most satisfying aspect of the role.”
