Wire thread - For reinforcing wire mesh and securing pieces

Wire mesh - I recommend sticking with 1/16 inch or 1/8 inch. Clay

goes through the larger weaves and it’s harder to do thin skins (like
wings). Suggested wire mesh:
• Amaco Aluminum WireForm Contour Mesh 1/16 inch

• Amaco Aluminum WireForm Sparkle Mesh 1/8 inch
• Amaco WireForm Modeler’s Mesh 1/8 inch - Haven’t tried it yet,

but it might hold the forms better. Sturdier than the other two
listed

White cotton gloves - For protecting your hands while working with

wire mesh. You can buy a single pair at the drugstore for $8 OR
you can order a bundle of 10 sets online for around $10 ($1 each)
