Working with earth pigments has not been the
experience I had envisioned. The pigments do
not speak to me. Miss the interplay of color.
Starting over, my second choice, working with
soy wax and dye. To that end, raw silk has
been soaked in a mordant. When it is dry, the
process will begin.
